MY ROCKWELLIAN JOURNEY
Milwaukee WI.- Stockbridge MA. - Arlington VT.
Following Norman’s footprint,
I stayed up through the night and morning for 18hrs straight from 6pm until noon the next day sketching charcoal inside Norman’s studio. Triple portrait of My dad, Artie, and I.. To say I didn’t feel his energy there, would be an understatement. Completely alone in Norman’s Rockwell’s studio to sketch and create gave me so much peace. I had to give the energy back. I can’t really describe or put into words this experience other than the pure joy of it all. Being with my Dad and best friend across country on this Rockwellian journey and meeting so many new and awesome people, Seeing these Amazing places.. The inspiration is rushing through me more than ever.
I’ve walked where he walked. I’ve Sat where he sat. I’ve created where he created.
You’ve shown me a lot Mr. Rockwell,
Thank you
I also had the pleasure of receiving recognition of my art from the owner of Norman’s house and studio, as well as The Norman Rockwell Museum!! This meant a lot to me. My art Being recognized on this level is just amazing.
Waukesha electrical box art project
In 2023, I was chosen to have 2 of my paintings vinyl wrapped on 2 sides of an electrical box in downtown Waukesha. Along with that I painted such a specific painting for Waukesha, nostalgic and heart felt story telling. The Historic Waukesha Freeman put me on the cover of the Saturday Post ! The paintings are still standing today.
